Frequently Asked Questions
My Child has medicine, how will the administering of it take place?
Each child, upon the sign in at ECC the day of departure, that has medicine will turn in his/her medicine in a Ziploc baggie with their name and group on it. Upon arrival at Springhill the group leader will take all the medications to the Springhill nurse who will see to the distribution of the medicine to your child at the Appropriate time. Please remember that all medications (prescription and over the counter) will be collected. All medications must come in the original pharmacy container with the patient name and dosage information clearly printed on the package. Please have each student put their medications in a Zip Lock bag or something similar. Make sure each bag is clearly marked with camper name and Ministry Center information for easy distribution by the nurse.
What should my child pack?
A packing list that comes directly from YFC does not come out until April.
